The Fortress Trail

Rose signs. It does not run near this information kiosk but it runs around the western part of the fortress, Bastion III and the curtain wall up to the Szczebrzeska Gate, along the former embankment road, i.e. on the internal side of the fortifications. If you want to follow the trail, walk about 150 m behind the blue Scenic Trail eastwards till you get to the trail on the bridge, opposite the Szczebrzeska Gate. You can either go back to the town through the gate or follow the trail to the underground tourist trail under Bastion II.
