The Fortress Trail

Rose signs. It has led you to the retrenchment of Bastion IV. Your are standing exactly at its axis. The town park is behind you; you can either walk through the postern* below the retrenchment or climb its embankment, overgrown with old trees now. If you turn right you pass Pałac Zamojskich and walk towards Bastion III. On the way, you see a vertical board with detailed information about the former Haxo* casemate in curtain wall III-IV. Then the trail runs to an archaeological exhibition in Bastion III, where there is another information kiosk.
