The Nature Trail

  Green signs. It takes you along the most beautiful lanes of the Town Park northwards to an island, a remnant of the counterguard* in front of Bastion IV. Then it runs across a place of arms of ravelin III-IV to Bastion III, where you can see the southern foreground of the fortress on J.P. Lelewel’s watercolours. If you walk westwards, the path takes you to the Renaissance Garden and then across the open northern foreground of Zamość “Zamojskie Pola Marsowe” to Koszary Kozackie, housing a tourist information centre. By a path in the Renaissance Garden there is a panorama showing the historical northern entrance to Zamość Fortress on J.P.Lelewel’s watercolours.
