The Scenic Trail

Blue signs. The trail runs westwards through the Town Park designed by Walerian Kronenberg to a water tank in the moat of Bastion IV. You get to a vantage point with the historical panorama of the fortress as shown on a watercolour by J.P. Lelewel and its comparison to the present-day appearance. Walking eastwards, you get first to the Renaissance Garden and then to a scenic “Promenada UNESCO” with a vantage point from which you can see the northern panorama of Zamość with partially reconstructed bastioned fortifications. Following this trail, you get to Koszary Kozackie housing a tourist information centre.
