The area of the open common land in the north of the fortress – ”Zamojskie Pola Marsowe” should become a venue of historical
enactments. At present it is the most accessible and the most striking area of this type in Poland, being very well adjusted to performing the function of an arena of big events of this type with a unique full silhouette of a Renaissance town in the background and bastioned fortifications in front. It can be divided into appropriate access zones so that the public can watch historical shows from a long scenic embankment (“Promenada UNESCO”), from a platform on lunette V-VI (above the amphitheatre) and from town embankments and earthworks of Bastion VII.
