The Fortress Trail

Rose signs. It leads you south to the Lubelska Gate and a fragment of bent, brick wall marking Bastion V. From there it leads you to a vantage point above the water tank in the moat of Bastion IV where you can see a historical panorama of the northern part of Zamość Fortress. Then the trail runs eastwards along the moat to Bastion VI and VII and to Koszary Kozackie, housing an exhibition of the history of Zamość Fortress and fortifications.
